I like to give credit due where it's due. Ian staying here for the night. This is a very well maintained clean motel. Comfortable beds fridge and microwaves and close to town. Basically all the amenities you would need ice barbeques and it is very quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend this motels for crew workers harvesters or any travelers needing a good clean comfortable motel . The Manager is also a real cool guy and decent people who goes out of his way to treat people good . if passing through the town of Holyoke Colorado on US 6 don't pass this decent little place up. The Manager is named Palo. He will treat you right. Thumbs up to the Gokden Plains Motel
Stayed here during a hunting trip and stayed in one of the newer rooms. As other reviewers have said, there are no frills, however it has clean, warm rooms and considering the price was a great value. The pet fee was also very reasonable, which made it easy to use for my pheasant trip. We will stay here again next trip.
Had a very pleasant stay. Check in was easy, the managers worked with me as I wasn't sure how long I was going to stay they were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and smelled good, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom towels were soft and absorbent. Would highly recommend this motel to everyone.
Best motel I have stayed at. I have stayed in 5 star hotels and not experienced such amazing customer service!! The owners are top notch in my book and I will be staying here every time I'm through Holyoke!!! Wish I could give it 10 stars. I arrived late on a Tuesday night and I drive an 18 wheeler making it hard to get around town so the owners went to subway and picked me up dinner to make sure I was able to eat and relax. I can't say enough good about this motel!!!!
First time staying here. Very affordable and clean. Rooms set up with everything you need. THANK YOU TO ALL STAFF & OWNERS. Beautiful stay also very quiet and private
Very clean and well taken care of rooms. You get your choice of smoking or non smoking, which is few and far between these days. Not sure if all rooms have them but our room had a small fridge and microwave. All that for $69 a night is tough to beat. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is due to the low water pressure that the shower provides. That being the only complaint, I would definitely stay there again if I ever find myself in the area.
Good local motel full of pheasant hunters. Close to Blistie’s Restaurant with its Friday night steak night. We have a non-smoking room with two queen beds. Fridge & microwave and coffee in the motel office. Price is right.
Staff was very friendly during my stay. Heating worked well, beds were soft. Some minor annoyances like a weak turntable on the microwave and one or two spots that show some age. Really can't complain much thanks to the price and pet friendly nature of the motel as a whole.
Perfect for a bird hunting trip; clean and simple. Comfortable beds, hot water, and TV. The other amenities include a microwave and fridge, and the coffee in the office at 5am was much appreciated! An added benefit to the motel is you can back right up to your door making loading and unloading easy. They also have a very friendly staff. I’ll be staying here again and again.
